We share insights from seasonal programming that aligns with nature’s cycles, guiding us through life transitions and deepening our relationship with the world around us. With educational resources and reflections, we embrace nature as our teacher and examine how our identities are rooted in the land and our communities. Arc’teryx Academy Reflections

This year, with Sandy Ward’s lead, Indigenous Women Outdoors (IWO) worked with Arc’teryx to facilitate four climbing sessions leading up to the Arc’teryx Climbing Academy in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. Throughout the weekend at Arc’teryx Academy’s festival, IWO held four clinics: Beginner Hike, Advanced Hike, Intro to Climbing, and Multi-pitch Climbing. The weekend invited bonding, deep conversations, cultural exchange, and fun!
