Gabriel Savage is a public health professional with several years of experience in program management, project management, and in leading strategic initiatives within non-profit, public health, and hospital research environments. She brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and compassionate leadership to every transformation initiative she undertakes, while centering patient care, employee experience, and cultural safety. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful systemic changes are carried through collaboration, humility, and ongoing learning.
She is of Filipina, Cree, Métis, and Scottish ancestry and live as an uninvited guest on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territiories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil Waututuh nations. In her personal time she is a photographer and visual artist. She is an outdoors enthusiast, and love canoeing, ski touring, hiking, backpacking trips, kite boarding, and sailing. If Gabriel is not listening to science podcasts you can find her racing sailboats through the straits of the Salish Sea.
