Introduction to Hunting Series

This program is for Indigenous women* who want to learn the foundations of hunting and food sovereignty in a supportive environment alongside other Indigenous folks.

Join Indigenous Women Outdoors this autumn for two hunting workshops aimed at helping Indigenous women* gain the skills, confidence, and training to practice food sovereignty.

In collaboration with EatWild, our autumn series will include two parts: Firearms safety & PAL training, and Hunter education & CORE exam.

Please note that participants are required to attend both days.

No previous hunting or firearms experience is needed to attend. A hunting range workshop will also be offered in November (details to be announced).

Part One: Firearms Safety / PAL Training

Part Two: Hunter Education / CORE Exam

  • Date: Sunday, September 27
  • Time: 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Location: East Vancouver
