Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Indigenous Women Outdoors (IWO) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization. We put a lot of heart, time, and resources into planning our events. Because spaces are limited, letting us know as early as possible if you can’t make it helps us offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. We really appreciate your support in making sure everyone has the chance to take part.

Participant Cancellations

  • 7 or more days before the event: Eligible for a full refund.
  • Less than 7 days before the event: No refund will be issued.

No-Show Policy

Participants who do not attend and do not provide notice are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Event Cancellation by Indigenous Women Outdoors

If IWO cancels or reschedules an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, safety concerns, or low enrollment), participants may choose between:

  • A full refund, or
  • Credit toward a future event.

Emergencies (Exceptions)

We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. If you need to cancel because of a medical or family emergency, please reach out as soon as you can. Depending on the situation, we may be able to offer a partial refund or credit toward a future event.

How to Cancel
