Ready to climb?

Join Indigenous Women Outdoors for two skill-building social climbs this autumn to raise your confidence, skills, and spirit. In a group of five Indigenous women*, we will tackle introductory to intro and intermediate routes with the expert guidance of Bronwyn Hodgins.

*All gear will be provided, if needed. Participants are welcome to bring harnesses, helmets, and shoes, if they have their own.

Executive Director

Aiyana Anderson-MacIsaac is the Executive Director at Indigenous Women Outdoors (IWO). She began her journey with the organization in 2020 as a participant in IWO’s first-ever program, the Introduction to Backcountry Mentorship Program. She then joined the Board of Directors as a Board Secretary in 2022 and served until April 2025. In 2024, Aiyana created and led the Off-Piste and Introduction to Backcountry Safety program as a Program Lead.
