Elsa is Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) and Swedish, residing in Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), BC. She works as the Indigenous Student Engagement Advisor at UBC Sauder School of Business. In the winter, Elsa volunteers as a ski coach for Lillooet youth in Whistler, BC. She’s also involved in the backcountry ski mentorship program with Indigenous Women Outdoors, allowing Indigenous women to connect with the land and each other safely. The work Elsa embarks on exemplifies her passion for uplifting Indigenous People through outdoor sport and economic development.
