Hadï Chelsie McCutcheon sozï’, she/ her, is Wet’suwet’en from the community Witset. A mother and outdoor enthusiast in snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing and backcountry treks. Chelsie lives with her family in Squamish, B.C., on the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. As an outdoor leader, Chelsie has shared her passion for the mountains since 1999, primarily in snowboarding. Chelsie has been working with non-for-profits since 2004, organizations that provide accessibility and long-term athlete development for First Nations youth. Including Chelsie’s home community of Witset.

Now, as a yoga teacher and a student to Capilano University, Chelsie is continuing to pursue her passion leading in the outdoors by studying (Indigenous) Outdoor Tourism and Business. Chelsie is honoured to be a part of the good work through Indigenous Women Outdoors, to elevate and provide a safe space for Indigenous folks.
